A resident of Rozdilna carried 38,890 packs of cigarettes with inscriptions in Ukrainian, Belarusian, Romanian without excise stamps and with them.

The minibus in which the excisable goods were transported was detained during the action of operational information. The vehicle was stopped by border guards of Podilsk border guard detachment during joint operations with representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine and Odessa customs.

The 49-year-old driver did not have any documents for the cargo. It was established that tobacco products were planned to be sold in local markets.

The cargo was seized and handed over to the representatives of the Odessa customs for the legal decision making. The total amount of cargo was estimated at about 850 thousand hryvnias. The origin of goods is established.
