Border guards of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi border guard detachment detained a Moldovan citizen who was on the international wanted list.

The 32-year-old foreigner was traveling to Ukraine through the Starokozache border crossing point. During the border control measures against this citizen, the Interpol database with a request for arrest and further extradition was activated.

It turned out that the man had been wanted by Romanian law enforcement agencies for more than two years in order to be prosecuted for robbery, forgery of documents and illegal crossing of the state border.

Border guards informed the Ukrbureau of Interpol in Kyiv about this fact. The intruder was handed over to the National Police of Ukraine.
