Operatives of the Podillia border detachment on the outskirts of the village of Novopetrivka, in the Odesa region, detained a young man and three men of conscription age who tried to cross the border illegally.

Law enforcement officers stopped a Hyundai car driven by a 22-year-old man from Odesa. In addition to the driver, there were three men in the car from Dnipro, Skadovsk and Odesa.

It turned out that the compatriots, having contacted the organizer of illegal smuggling of persons through an advertisement on the Internet, agreed on a «safe trip» to Moldova for $6,000.

All violators were detained and handed over to representatives of the National Police for further legal action.
