The Border guards of the Belgorod-Dniester border detachment detained a citizen of Ukraine who tried to smuggle three men to Moldova.

Law enforcement officers stopped a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old resident of Odesa. He was driving near the border with three passengers.

During the verification of documents and establishing the purpose of staying in the border area, the passengers admitted that for a reward, in the amount of 2,000 to 4,000 US dollars, the compatriot was supposed to provide them abroad.

However, due to our border guards, he did not have time to realize his "promise".

For an attempt to illegally cross the state border, the offenders were brought to administrative responsibility and a report was sent to the National Police on the grounds of a criminal offense.
