Law enforcement officers found out that a 46-year-old railway employee agreed to illegally transport a citizen of Ukraine liable for military service to Poland for a monetary reward. To implement the transfer service, the conductor hid the man in a specially equipped hiding place in his compartment at the time of border control. However, during the inspection of the train, the "VIP passenger" was detected. As it turned out, the "ticket" for the fugitive cost more than 85 thousand hryvnias.

The law enforcement officers informed the organizer of the illegal scheme that he was suspected of committing a criminal offense. The sanction of the article provides for punishment - imprisonment for a period of seven to nine years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years with confiscation of property.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement officers are identifying all those involved in the organization of the illegal channel for transporting people bound to military service across the border.
