IT Cluster donated the equipment for the needs of border guards as part of the Guardian project.

Multimedia equipment, machinery and components will be used to create a comprehensive system for collecting, analyzing and storing information on the western border.

«We call this monitoring project «Eyes of the Western Border». The purpose of this project is to collect and analyze information from the entire western border - starting with the Belarusian border, which is under special attention, and up to the border with Moldova, » said Ihor Matiichuk, Deputy Chief of Staff - Head of the Border Control Organization Department of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The implementation of the project will allow for better real-time monitoring of the situation and effective decision-making.

«We are also getting more opportunities to accumulate data from all surveillance cameras at the border, from unmanned aerial vehicles, programs that show the air situation, etc.», added Ihor Matiichuk.

According to Stepan Veselovskyi, CEO of Lviv IT Cluster, the Guardian project was launched in May 2013, and UAH 5 million has already been allocated for its implementation.

«Today we are handing over monitors that can be assembled into a large display, as well as computers and components for the monitoring center. In total, Lviv IT Cluster has financed a number of different projects worth almost UAH 100 million. Our initiatives are aimed at supporting businesses, military, critical and civilian infrastructure, and strengthening the region’s security. This work will continue, » said Stepan Veselovskyi.

We are grateful to all our donors for their help and support.

Together to Victory! Glory to Ukraine!
