Border units within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, along with other Ukrainian defenders, continue to defend their homeland and provide a worthy resistance to Russian occupiers.

At the same time, the fighters actively counter enemy aerial targets, which have been increasingly used by the aggressor country recently.

Recently, in Kharkiv region, while performing a combat mission, a border patrol serving on one of the fronts observed the approach of an enemy drone that illegally crossed the state border and was heading deeper into Ukrainian territory. Border guards opened fire and turned the "bird" into a pile of wreckage.

The hostile UAV did not reach its target, thus thanks to the coordinated actions and skilled shooting of Ukrainian border guards, human lives were saved.
