In the Chernihiv oblast, border guards, together with the officers of the SBU and the National Police, discovered a weapons cache of russian occupants.

While working on the territory of the Ripka community, which was temporarily occupied by Russian Federation troops, law enforcers found a fortified position of the occupants and some weapons and ammunition left behind.

In the area, where the enemy was based, the law enforcers found: RPG-26, shots in RPG 7B, grenade “F-1”, more than 600 cartridges of different calibers. The markings on the army wooden box indicate that the ammunition belongs to the 35th Independent Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade, permanently stationed in the Altai region of Russia.

All the items found were confiscated by law enforcers.

The issue of the transfer of weapons and ammunition for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is being resolved.

Law enforcers will continue to carry out meticulous measures to find weapons, ammunition, and military equipment left behind by the rashists while retreating. Ukraine must be safe and comfortable.
