Today, as part of “Carpathians 2021” Operation, in cooperation with the border guards of Nyzhni Petrivtsi section, it was possible to prevent airspace violations within the Ukrainian-Romanian border.

Thus, during the implementation of the internal security officers of the State Border Guard Service advance information, the border guards tracked down the criminals.

The violators, 4-5 kilometers from the border, arranged a place for takeoff and landing of an unmanned aerial vehicle, and prepared boxes for transportation. However, with the appearance of law enforcement officers, they fled in an off-road vehicle. At the scene, border guards revealed 6 boxes of almost 3,000 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps of Ukraine. The border patrol also found a multicopter, the power of which allows you to transport a box weighing 17 kg.

Currently, the unmanned aerial vehicle and cigarettes have been delivered to the border unit for transfer to the SFS.

The search for those who are involved in the illegal activities of persons continues.

It should be noted that this weekend an An-2, which violated the state border of Ukraine was found in Prykarpattia and was used for smuggling activities. The plane of the Sevastopol brigade of tactical aviation named after Oleksandr Pokryshkin intercepted the violator.
