The border patrol of Seliatyn borderguard division found a Mitsubishi Pajero. The driver did not respond at the request of borderguards to stop and continued to move towards the village of Shepit, Vyzhnytsia district. However, the fugitive stopped on the Seliatyn-Shepit highway, a few hundred meters from the border, and began unloading the goods from the car.

The 20-year-old driver, a car and tobacco products were taken to the borderguard unit by borderguards. Measures are being taken to establish all the circumstances of the offense.

It should be noted that the cost of the detected smuggled cigarettes reaches half a million hryvnias.
