At the Boryspil BCP, border guards stopped one of the passengers for additional checks.

He was on a flight to Istanbul. However, the stationary complex “Yantar”, used for detecting of radioactive materials and objects, reacted to the man's hand luggage.

The border guards conducted an additional check of a Russian citizen. It turned out that the source of the ionizing radiation background was the aircraft clock, which he took with him. Moreover, the radiation dose of the object exceeded the permissible norm by 100 times.
