Illegal migrants from Turkey were detained last night in Transcarpathia by border guards of Mukachevo border guard detachment.

While patrolling the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, Luzhanka Division detail saw four people trying to overcome the barrier fence.

Taking notice of the servicemen, the wrongdoers tried to escape. To stop the fugitives, the border guards fired a warning shot up, after which all four were detained and taken to the border guard unit.

 The detainees were Turkish citizens, all of whom had passports. Border guards found out that the ultimate goal of the illegal journey of the Turks was supposed to be Germany.

They have been taken to the temporary detention center of Mukachevo border guard detachment so far. The assessment of the foreigners' actions and their further destiny will soon be decided by the court.
