7 young people from Bangladesh decided to spend their weekend in an original way. Border guards of Mukachevo border guard detachment noticed guests from a far country on Sunday, 22nd April. The group of unknown people was located in an abandoned water tower, in suburbs of the village Shom, Beregove district, 4 km from border. They were detained there by officers of “Goronglab” border guard division.
Detained people had no documents, but they said that they were citizens of Bangladesh and intended to go to one of the EU countries. The oldest person was a 24-years-old man, and other two were younger than 17.
Currently, detainees are in Chop temporary detention point, and their future will be decided by court. The circumstances of the violation are being under offense examination.
