A 19-year-old Ukrainian can go to prison for attempting to transfer a liable for military service across the border llegally.

On the border with Hungary, border guards of the Mukachevo border guard detachment prevented an attempt of illegal crossing by a liable for military service man who was hiding under a blanket.

The offender was discovered at the Luzhanka BCP during an inspection of a Volkswagen car driven by a Ukrainian citizen. In such way, the driver (born in 2003), tried to take her 32-year-old friend abroad.

The man is waiting for an administrative responsibility to cross the border illegally and will be transfer to one of the territorial acquisition center.

His 19-year-old "assistant" faces criminal liability for organizing the illegal movement of people across the border.
