Colonel Serhii Mul, Head of the Southern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine met with the Head of Mission of EUBAM General Slawomir Pichor.

Today in Odessa, at the headquarters of EUBAM, a meeting was held between the Head of the Southern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Colonel Serhii Mul, and the Head of Mission of EUBAM General Slawomir Pichor.

During the introductory meeting, parties discussed a number of issues of joint work at the ground of the southern region, in particular regarding the aspects of joint control on the Ukrainian-Moldavian state border, the implementation of the project to improve integrated border management. Attention was also paid to the need to develop infrastructure at checkpoints, taking into account European experience.

Slawomir Pichor congratulated the newle appointed Head of the Southern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Colonel Serhii Mul, and wished him success, inspiration in professional activities and positive achievements.

At the end of the meeting, both leaders expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation between the EU Mission and the Southern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
