The Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhii Deineko inspected the border sector of the Kherson Border Guard Detachment.
Together with the chiefs of the Southern Regional Directorate and the Kherson Border Guard Detachment, the Head of the Service checked the readiness of servicemen to perform the tasks assigned to them and the conditions of service during quarantine measures.
The Head of the Service also visited the entry-exit checkpoints Kalanchak, Chaplynka and Chonhar and checked the places of long-term service on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Major General Serhii Deineko stressed that despite the improvement of the conditions for the admission of persons at the state border, the issue of improving the conditions at the administrative border and taking all measures to preserve the lives and health of servicemen is an urgent issue for the border guard agency.
