The active phase of training of border guard service inspectors is underway at the Main Training Centre. Today, during a lesson on the tactics of border guard service, “green berets” have studied the basics of border tracing.

To timely notice and distinguish the traces of people and animals, to know how to imitate them, to determine the number of people and direction of the offenders are the main skills that must be mastered by every guard of state borders. After all, tracing is an integral part of the service skills of border guards.

During the training, servicemen practiced to distinguish human footprints from wild animals or their imitations, to determine the direction of movement, learned how to preserve the signs of human presence, and considered examples of tricks used by offenders when illegally crossing the state border of Ukraine.

The actions of the border patrol during the detection of signs of violation of the state border were also studied.
