His name is Andriy, and his call sign is French. No, he does not come from Provence, but from a town in Odesa.

The life of our hero is very interesting and colorful. He trained as a border guard officer, served in the border troops, worked in the fashion industry in Paris, became a merchant marine captain and called up for mobilization a second time. And now more angry.

In the early 1990s, he entered the Odessa Institute of Ground Forces. Two years later, he was transferred to the Kharkiv Tank Guards Command School. But, taking into account the fact that the newly established border college needed officers, he and several other fellow students were transferred to the Institute of Border Troops of Ukraine. After successfully completing the border alma mater, he serves as an officer in the Ishmael training marine detachment, and later in the units of the Ishmael border detachment.

At the beginning of the 2000s, he resigned and moved to France. In order to work in a foreign country, Andriy simultaneously studied speech courses at the University of Paris XII Val-de-Marne. In Paris, he worked as a builder, handyman and even a newspaper seller.

After almost ten years, he managed to get a job in the field of fashion. Andriy was a co-organizer of Fashion Week. All clothing exhibitions were held in the Showroom format. As a rule, an exhibition of women's clothing was first organized, and then men's clothing. In fact, the show of collections, taking into account the name, did not take place for a week, but for about one month. In the exhibitions of collections for women, our compatriot worked for a French businessman, and for men - for an American one. About 20 people of various profiles were involved in the Showroom organization, who were engaged in casting models, choosing clothes that might be in fashion in the next season, etc. The Ukrainian was engaged in the equipment of the premises, installation of lighting, managed the arrangement of things, met and accompanied clients, and also directed them to the necessary specialists. All the items selected for the exhibition were not from well-known couturiers, however, as Andriy notes, due to their limited number and exclusivity, they cost an order of magnitude more than well-known brands. During his career, he organized clothing exhibitions in such famous places as the Palace of the Minister of Finance of Louis XIV, the town hall of the 15th arrondissement of Paris and even the Louvre. This show was attended by representatives of world-famous Lux boutiques, who were immediately able to buy clothes.

He could continue working in Paris, drinking morning coffee with crispy croissants, but 2014 changed everything. Having seen the situation in the Motherland from the French news, Andriy immediately came to Ukraine and enlisted in the Izmail border detachment. Then, with the unit, he went to the area of anti-terrorist operation, where he defended Ukraine from the Russian invader. Given that he worked in France, his brothers gave him the nickname French.

After being released into the reserve, he, realizing that according to the rules of business, no one will wait for him in France for a long time, decides to connect his fate with the sea. Thus, he enters the correspondence department of the Danube Institute of the Odesa Maritime Academy, and in the meantime works as an ordinary sailor on UDP ships. After completing his studies, he becomes an officer in the merchant fleet and already goes to sea. As in the first case, he was not destined to live a civilian life. The news about the large-scale offensive of the Russian Federation on Ukraine caught him at sea. With the permission of the company's management, he gets off the flight and goes to the picking center himself.

Today, the Frenchman is once again serving in his native unit and teaching his personnel the necessary skills to protect the Motherland.
