Deputies of the National Assembly of the French Republic paid a visit to Hnutove EECP.

Colonel Serhii Lozinskyi, acting chief of the Donetsk Detachment, briefed the delegation on the security situation within the humanitarian road corridor. In particular, he said that the movement of citizens along the road corridor is blocked by the Russian occupation forces.

“The movement of people is completely blocked in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. At the same time, we have a sufficient number of border guards at the checkpoint who are ready to provide a pass,” said Serhii Lozinskyi.

On behalf of the French parliamentarians, a deputy of the French National Assembly, Mr. Pierre Persson, addressed the audience. “France is proud of the heroism of Ukrainians and is concerned about the situation. We hope for a quick and successful settlement. We will take efforts that depend on us,” highlighted the French parliamentarian.
