Border guards detained four Bukovynians who damaged the border infrastructure and tried to cross the border illegally in Chernivtsi region.

Recently, June 23, 800 meters from the border with Romania, the border patrol of the Falkiv border guard division of the Chernivtsi border guard detachment noticed a group of people who, having overcome a barrier fence, tried to reach the border.

Noticing the border guards, unknown people fled back to Ukraine. However, the violators were soon detained. They turned out to be four Bukovynians - residents of Vyzhnytskyi district.

The men were brought to administrative responsibility for attempting to cross the state border of Ukraine illegally and maliciously disobeying the lawful requirements of the border guard. The decision on penalty charging will be made by the court.
