A search was conducted in Chernivtsi Oblast as part of a criminal case involving the illegal movement of tobacco products across the border.

Investigative and operational measures were taken as part of a pre-trial investigation, which was launched according to border guards.  They were held today in one of the villages of Zastavnivskyi district by an interagency group consisting of representatives of the State Border Guard Service and the National Police.  During the authorized search, law enforcement officers found and seized four motor hang gliders without documents (one of them in disassembled form), one GPS tracker, two cross-country motorcycles and documentation that could be used as evidence of illegal activity in court.
