As the woman did not have documents permitting her to cross the border, she was denied entry to Ukraine. For now, she will take on a return flight back.

Last year, border guards found almost 2,600 people with invalid documents at border crossing points on the state border of Ukraine. 526 people were travelling with forged and other people's passports. Another 268 people were undocumented. Also, in 2020, during the border control procedures, the State Border Guard Service officers found almost 270 fake stamps of the State Border Guard Service about crossing the border.

Another incident took place yesterday at the Boryspil border crossing point, where border guards of the Kyiv Separate BCP did not allow a foreigner who did not have documents to enter Ukraine.

The woman arrived by plane “Istanbul-Kyiv”, however, during the passport control it turned out that she did not have any documents that would confirm her identity. According to her words, she is a citizen of Gambia, born in 1999.
