An Iranian citizen who arrived on a flight from Istanbul provided a Greek passport for verification. The border guards established that 15 pages had been replaced in the document. The man was in transit through Ukraine and intended to get to Yerevan. During a conversation with the border guards, the citizen said that his brother had bought the fake.

In another case, a Kazakh citizen traveling with her son to Istanbul provided documents of Spanish citizens. After examining the documents, the border guards recorded a complete forgery of documents. According to the woman, the fake passports were sent to them by mail from Turkey, and the parcel cost her 5,000 US dollars.

The foreigners have been charged with administrative offenses, and they have also been banned from entering Ukraine for 3 years.
