During 9 months of 2021, 27.2 million people crossed the state border of Ukraine, both for entry and exit, of which 21.1 million are Ukrainians and 6.1 million are citizens of foreign countries.

This figure increased by 14 percent compared to last year. During 9 months of last year, 23.5 million citizens crossed the border of Ukraine.

This year, travelers crossed the state border the most at air border crossing points - 10.8 million citizens. This is almost 45 percent more than last year.

The second place in crossing the state border of Ukraine is occupied by the border with Poland - in this direction, border guards have registered 6.4 million citizens, of whom 5.8 million - our citizens and about 615 thousand - are foreigners.

The third place takes the border with Hungary and Russia.
