During the day, border guards detained five border violaters trying to cross the state border outside the BCPs.

Information about possible violations of the border with Poland by illegal migrants was provided by operatives of the Lviv Border Guard Detachment. During the verification of information a border patrol of the Rava-Ruska border guard division on the outskirts of one of the settlements of Lviv district, detained two Turkish citizens aged 33 and 49.

As it turned out, the foreigners arrived in Ukraine legally and had identification documents with them. However, they decided to enter the EU outside the BCPs.

The violators were taken to the border unit, and administrative documents were drawn up against them. The further fate of illegal travelers will be decided by the court.

In addition, border guards of the Podilsk border guard detachment, near the village of Oleksiiivka, found a citizen of Ukraine while trying to cross the border. A 28-year-old resident of the border area said he had served his sentence in a prison in the Republic of Moldova and was returning home. He decided to bypass the Oleksiiivka BCP because he did not have any proper documents.

Also, border guards of the same detachment near the village of Hrebenyky used an optoelectronic surveillance system to detect two people who illegally crossed the border into Ukraine.

The violators were citizens of the Republic of Moldova aged 45 and 42. They explained that they allegedly got lost on the way home.

Currently, all violators have been brought to administrative responsibility.
