The practical training for first-year cadets of the Law Enforcement Faculty of the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in border protection units has concluded.

The cadets familiarized themselves with sections of the state border, service at checkpoints, the state of engineering infrastructure, and the specifics of the responsibilities of the units where they underwent practical training.

The first-year cadets studied contractual documents between Ukraine and neighboring states, and participated in various types of border patrols to protect the state border, including detecting and apprehending border law violators, as well as conducting outreach and preventive work with the border community.
