Major General Volodymyr Nikiforenko got acquainted with the current situation in the area, inspected the organization of the system of defense at the places of deployment of the units.

The First Deputy Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine personally inspected the equipment of the shelters, the conditions of service of the border guards, and their provision. He also presented departmental awards to the border guards of the Southern Regional Directorate and Maritime Regional Directorate, who showed distinguished military achievements, extraordinary courage and heroism during combat missions.

Addressing the soldiers, Major General Volodymyr Nikiforenko emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine and to border guards, in particular were entrusted with an extremely important mission. “In this difficult time, each of you is making a contribution to our common victory over the occupiers,” said Volodymyr Nikiforenko.
