Session of the working group on appropriation of funds received on the Agency’s account as charity support to those border guards who were displaced from Crimean territory to the continental Ukraine took place at the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The total sum of charity financial charges for military and their families amounted to 2 702 300 UAH as of May 9, 2014.

The funds have been distributed in view of real need of every service member and his (her) family. In particular, the number of family members, the presence in family of children with health problems and so on were taking into account. Currently, 2 129 000 UAH are distributed for discharge.

Besides, from funds received 85 500 UAH were allocated for nutrition of military’s families who were removed from Crimea and are temporarily residing at the Agency’s “Arkadia” sanatorium in Odessa.

The State Border Guard Service returns thanks to all those people who are not indifferent and keep supporting border guards at difficult time for our country. Please be remarked that except for charity support funds, the State Border Guards Service received other material support. First and the foremost, - food products, everyday and hygienic items, protection kits, clothing etc. In money terms, the total cost of the assistance received is 7 500 000 UAH.
