The situation around the fortress city of Bakhmut remains tense. The Defense Forces of Ukraine, including border guards, face overwhelming russian aggression

The enemy carried out artillery and mortar fire on border guard strongholds, as well as civilian infrastructure, causing significant damage to the city. Additionally, border guard units engaged in two positional battles with russian occupiers throughout the day. Using aerial reconnaissance, mortar teams targeted routes of the enemy’s advance, while defenders engaged in close-range combat and eliminated enemy soldiers with grenades. The State Border Guard Service successfully repelled the enemy's advance, resulting in 11 enemy soldiers killed and 14 more injured during the battle.
