Recently at the facility of the Kiev Regional State Administration, the presentation of the art exhibition “The Fairies and the Knights” was held in the occasion of the Day of the defender of Ukraine and the International Day of disabled people.

The banners contain photos of young ladies (with disabilities) in the image of fairy tales with ATO / JFO veterans with elements of medieval knightly armor.

The project is implemented on the initiative of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Prahnennia” and with the support of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the Command of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Civil and Military Cooperation – CIMIC, Eleos-Ukraine, Kyiv Regional State Administration.

The purpose of the project is to form a humanistic attitude in society towards children with disabilities and to increase the positive image of Ukrainian soldiers – defenders of Ukraine.

Colonel Oleh Prymachenko, Head of the Social and Humanitarian Directorate of the Personnel Department of the State Border Guard Service Administration, thanked the organizers for inviting border guards to participate in such important events for our society and congratulated all participants on the upcoming Defender of Ukraine Day.

“Border guards are always ready to provide assistance, especially if children need it,” said Oleh Prymachenko.

At the end of the event, the young participants received gifts in memory of their knights.
