In the period from 25 till 26 February 2016 an international scientific and practical seminar-training “Current issues of technical examination of documents” involving representatives of the Chief Forensic Center the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The event was held within the IV Lysychenkivskiy readings in the Kiev scientific research institute of judicial examinations of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. During the seminar, representatives of the Central Forensic Center of the State Border Guard Service conducted the workshop for participants for detection the signs of forged citizen passport documents. Furthermore, the experts guard presented the analysis of innovative document security systems of various countries and the prospects of 3D photos in forensic studies. In addition, the current issues in the field of technical examination of documents and ways to improve forensic work were discussed with the participation of the Republic of Poland, Germany, Belarus, government agencies Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and other forensic activities. Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest technical equipment for expertise.
