In the Kyiv region, border guards revealed excise goods without appropriate marking, which they intended to bring to the capital

The Mercedes vehicle was stopped for inspection. In the car, law enforcement officers found goods subject to excise tax, but there was no corresponding marking on the goods. In total, border guards found 26,392 electronic cigarettes of a well-known brand in the car. The preliminary amount of the goods was 5.5 million hryvnias.

A citizen of Ukraine born in 1977 was transporting counterfeit goods. During the inspection, the border guards together with operatives of the Kyiv Separate border crossing point noted that the man had no supporting documents.
