European Neighbourhood Days “Kordon 480” were held on 7^th&l

European Neighbourhood Days “Kordon 480” were held on 7^th  and 8^th  of September at the Ukrainian-Polish border, from both sides, near Nyzhankoychi (Starosambirskyi region, Lviv oblast) and Malkhovitse villages (Pidkarpatske proince, Republic of Poland).

Over 11.5 thousands of persons were passed through the Ukrainian-Polish border in simplified procedure by the border guards of Mostysk border guard detachment for participation in celebratory events. During two days, a number of cross-border cooperation activities were organized for local inhabitants of Ukrainian and Polish border regions. This included interesting cultural events, fairs, theatre performances and concerts. An important issue is the fact that the event was held in the place, where construction of the border crossing point "Nyzhankovychi - Malkhovitse" is planned.
