Stanytsia-Luhanska Entry-Exit Checkpoint is the only checkpoint in Luhansk Region that actually passes people across the demarcation line.

Entry-Exit Checkpoint “Stanytsia-Luhanska” operates daily from 8.00 to 16.00.

At the end of last year, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine amended some previous resolutions. In particular, these changes abolished the requirement for self-isolation for persons entering through the Entry-Exit Checkpoint from the temporarily occupied territories.

Now, when crossing the Entry-Exit Checkpoint on the line of demarcation towards the controlled territory of Ukraine, travelers do not need to go through self-isolation and install the mobile application “At Home”.

During the period of abolition of self-isolation of the Stanytsia Luhanska entry-exit checkpoint, more than 50,000 people crossed. Note that despite the abolition of self-isolation, the number of those who crossed the line of demarcation remains low compared to last year. We will remind that in 2021 in the period from October 10 to November 11 representatives of the occupying power intensively blocked movement of persons through a demarcation line. If we turn to the statistics before the blockade of traffic, and in the entry-exit checkpoint “Stanytsia Luhanska” in September 2021, the demarcation line was crossed by more than 71 thousand people.

It is also worth noting that according to people crossing the line of demarcation, it became known that the occupation authorities allow them to enter the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities - once a month. Thus, continuing to limit the opportunities of Ukrainians living in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine to communicate with relatives, buy medicine, food, receive benefits, educational, medical (including vaccination) and more.
