Training for drivers and gunners of armored vehicles was held at the Main Personnel Training Center in Cherkasy region.

At the welcome sessions, experienced instructors made the personnel aware of the purpose, tactical and technical characteristics, features of operation of armored vehicles and the machine guns ordnance.

Subsequently, practical exercises began. The main goal of the practical training was to to give rise to crew members' acquirement of working with armored personnel carriers, exercising mechanical assembly and disassembly of weapons.

Much attention was also paid to crew interaction practice run in conditions as close as possible to real ones. On the snow-covered driving range and in the difficult land environment, border guards were confidently overcoming natural and artificial obstacles. Slopes, hillsides and drop-offs did not become obstacles for skilled drivers of armored personnel carriers as well as KrAZ Couhuar armored combat vehicles.

At the same time, at the military shooting range, gunners were exercising practical firing from a halt, accurately hitting certain targets.

After having completed the training, the border guards have passed the qualification tests, received the appropriate certificates, and gone to the places of permanent service.
