Also, in 2020, as part of international technical assistance, DOZOR units received automotive equipment, unmanned aerial devices, communications equipment, IT equipment, optical surveillance equipment and other tactical equipment.

In the framework of cooperation between the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the Department of Law Enforcement (INL) of the US Embassy, measures are taken to reform the special purpose unit DOZOR within the project of international technical assistance “Assistance to the development of DOZOR special purpose units of the State Border Guard Service”.

With the assistance of the INL Division, trainings were conducted with the personnel of the detachment last year: “Management of human behavior during mass events or in the crowd”, “Fundamentals of negotiation and work with hostages” and a set of trainings on tactical medicine.

Also, in 2020, as part of international technical assistance, DOZOR units received automotive equipment, unmanned aerial devices, communications equipment, IT equipment, optical surveillance equipment and other tactical equipment.

It is worth noting that last year a modular campus in Kyiv was put into operation and fully equipped for the needs of the detachment. Currently, measures have been taken to build administrative buildings and a shooting training complex at the base of the detachment and a modular campus for the DOSOR operational response unit in the city of Kharkiv.

Cooperation with foreign partners gives the opportunity to develop together with law enforcement agencies of the leading countries of the world, to improve the professional level and capabilities of the special purpose unit.
