About eight dozen Apple gadgets tried to smuggle across the border last night.

Border guards revealed the goods in cooperation with customs officers during control measures at two border crossing points.

The “Apples” were in a backpack and a cardboard box, which, according to the driver, he was asked to deliver from abroad as a transfer. Gadgets that the driver has never recognized as his property have been confiscated in accordance with the established procedure. The amount of goods is set.

And at the capital's airport, gadgets of the same brand were revealed by border guards of the Kyiv BCP, according to the operatives, in cooperation with customs officials. In particular, an attempt to illegally move 38 Apple mobile phones was stopped. They were transported by a passenger who arrived from the UAE at the Zhuliany BCP. To hide the precious gadgets, the Ukrainian placed them in his pockets separately from the factory boxes. The estimated cost of the goods is about UAH 500,000.
