Over the past day, the State Border Guard Service repelled a series of enemy attacks in Donetsk region and eliminated a group of invaders in Luhansk region.

The enemy forces made two assaults at the border guard positions near Bakhmut. During the night, the enemy destroyed some of the fortifications with artillery and tank fire. In the afternoon, ‘wagner’ fighters tried to breakthrough in this direction, but failed to overcome the defences. In a firefight, the mercenary group was stopped by border guards.

Ukrainian defenders localized another attack in Donetsk region. In this area, the battle was short-lived, as border guards and mortar launchers eliminated a a dozen assault troops during their assembly for the attack.

And in Luhansk region, a border guard machine gun crew hit a group of enemy infantries. The fire was corrected by drone operators, who spotted the movement of the occupiers' rifle unit towards the contact line. At least four russian soldiers remained in the forest trail they were using to reach the front line.

According to preliminary data from the border guard units' fire impact, the enemy lost 17 people - 6 killed and 11 wounded.
