Recently, servicemen of the Izmail Sea Guard Detachment met with students of the Danube Center for Vocational Education. It is interesting to note that the maritime border guards are frequent guests at the educational institution, so the students of the center welcomed the guests by preparing a musical composition.

In their turn, the border guards brought a variety of equipment and other means that they use in their official activities. The young people were interested to hear about the peculiarities of the service of border guards, and of course, everyone had the opportunity to try on a bulletproof vest and helmet. At the meeting, the servicemen gave the students a lesson in courage and patriotism. They talked about peace and the value of life – something that is so important in times of war.

Of course, they mentioned such historical events as the Battle of Kruty, the Holocaust and others. The border guards tried to make the lesson interesting and convey the main point: how important it is to remember the heroic Ukrainian past and, having learned from its mistakes, never repeat them in the future.
