During the official visit to the administrative border, the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration checked the border guard duty stations.

Thus, Dmytro Kuleba together with the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea Anton Korynevych, the Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Yurii Gusev accompanied by the Chairman of the Southern Regional Department Colonel Serhii Mul during opening of the Kalanchak Control Entry/Exit Checkpoint visited also the regime territory.

The Deputy Prime Minister, while communicating with the border guards, became acquainted with the positive changes in the border guard duty stations, noted the important role of the service, and thanked the border guards for their work. Colonel Serhii Mull assured that the border guards would continue to accomplish their tasks with maximum efficiency, and now it would be much easier with the positive changes and reconstruction of  the Kalanchak Control Entry/Exit Checkpoint.

It should be noted that during the reconstruction of the Kalanchak Control Entry/Exit Checkpoint, the aspects of border guard service were taken into account. The proper conditions were created not only for the citizens crossing the border, but also for service by the border guards.
