Units of the State Border Guard Service, as part of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, are engaged in heavy fighting with Russian occupation forces for the fortress town of Bakhmut.

Recently, UAV operators detected a concentration of enemy infantry. From this area, enemy assault troops were launching attacks on Ukrainian defenders.

Border guards with mortars received coordinates for a targeted attack. They covered the forest where enemy forces were located and their positions with artillery mines. A sudden barrage neutralized a group of Wagner mercenaries that was preparing to attack. Approximately 5 occupiers were eliminated and about 11 were injured.

In addition, a drone filmed the typical behavior of the hired mercenaries. An unknown Wagner member threw ammunition, gathered valuable items from the dead "colleagues in the dangerous business," and left. As they say, "we don't abandon our own."
