The message was said by the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine during his stay at the positions of the border guard units in Donetsk region

Serhii Deineko inspected how the border guards and their counterparts were carrying out the mission of de-occupying Ukrainian territory, liberating cities and villages captured by the enemy. He also visited the duty stations of the border guards.

The head of the border agency discussed in detail with the commanders of the border guard units and Joint Operational Command the execution of defense tasks by the border guards.

He praised the border guards for their courage and marked the effectiveness of actions and interaction between all components of the Defense Forces.

“I am grateful to every border guard who honorably fulfills the tasks assigned to them. You faced a very difficult challenge. But since you have coped with it, you are real heroes, real warriors of whom the country is proud. The enemy is insidious but, due to the coordinated actions of all the components of the Defense Forces, they can feel the invincibility of Ukraine. And we are not afraid of the partial mobilization announced by them. On the contrary, it shows that the so-called “special military operation” is not going well. We have nowhere to retreat, this is our land. We must expel the enemy beyond the line of our border and restore territorial integrity in order to continue living in our wonderful country”, said the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

He has also discussed all the needs and supplies necessary for the border guards, in particular for winter. In addition, he checked the conditions in which the servicemen live, the arrangement of positions and shelters for the personnel.

Serhii Deineko noted that the agency works constantly to improve the capabilities of the border guard service, including active cooperation with foreign partners.

“We are doing everything possible so that the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and our units are provided with everything necessary; so that the border guards are self-sufficient and able to inflict fire damage on the enemy on the border on their own; so that we can deter offensive of the enemy and give time to the units of the Armed Forces to advance and jointly destroy the aggressor”, he added.
