The successful implementation of the joint project of the Ukrainian border agency with the European Border and Coast Guard Agency Frontex continues,

according to which the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine enchases its capacity in the area of state border protection in the West and South of Ukraine.

In particular, the purchase of portable power stations that will be used in the border units of the Western Regional Administration and units located in the Odesa, Vinnytsia, and Rivne regions has been recently completed.

In addition, more than 2,000 elements of uniforms, wind- and waterproof winter pants have already been delivered to the border units.

Earlier this year, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency Frontex and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine signed a Grant Agreement, the main purpose of which is to strengthen the State Border Service of Ukraine capacity in the field of border control and protection of the state border in order to overcome possible challenges on the country's western borders with EU member states and the Republic of Moldova.
