On the coast of the Sea of Azov in the area of the Joint Forces Operation, for several days the military men of the Donetsk Border Guard Detachment were improving their skills, training to act quickly and decisively during combat missions to protect the state border.

The work of reconnaissance groups, conducting a search and liquidation of the enemy, blocking the sabotage and reconnaissance groups and, most importantly, restoring the former borders were the main training tasks of green berets.

Fulfilment of the tasks set during the march to the area of operation, scenarios on the move, the deployment of the camp, repelling an imaginary attack and destroying the enemy - all this was worked out by the fighters of the border command.

The border command tested itself in combat simulated conditions. The military men were studying the area and camouflaging their location, setting up a field camp. And most importantly - conducted aimed fire at stationary and moving targets. In addition, they practised fire exercises using submachine guns, machine guns, Dragunov sniper rifles, RPGs and AGS grenade launchers, as well as destroyed simulated enemy targets moving from the sea with the help of DShK machine guns and anti-aircraft guns.

Special attention was paid to first aid training. Border guards trained to transport the wounded and rescue not only the others but themselves.
