Border guards in cooperation with customs service representatives detected more than 2 000 packs of cigarettes at “Rava-Ruska” border crossing point, Lviv oblast.

A driver, the citizen of Ukraine hid tobacco products in constructive features of the “Volkswagen” vehicle. Tobacco products were detected in right front fender, dome, petrol tank, cargo box, under back seat and in speed box. Total amount of confiscated cigarettes is more than 22 000 UAH. Cigarettes were transferred to customs service representatives. The vehicle was also confiscated for an attempt of transportation the items through the state border.

Besides, the citizen of Poland tried to carry more than 200 packs of cigarettes in spare wheel. Border guards of “Yahodyn” border crossing point detected hidden place in “Audi” vehicle.
