A 36-year-old citizen of Ukraine, a resident of Chernivtsi, who arrived at the BCP in an Opel minibus, tried to secretly move cigarettes across the border. The man drove five Ukrainians to France to earn money. Going on a trip, the driver decided to make his car's dashboard with a hiding place and pack it with cigarettes.

During an in-depth inspection of the minibus, the border detail in cooperation with a customs officer found and extracted 411 packs of cigarettes of various brands in a hiding place.

Tobacco products and a minibus were confiscated from the smuggler. The amount of the cigarettes was estimated at 18.5 thousand UAH, the minibus was estimated at 250,000 UAH.
