In the beginning of February, a two-week practical training started for the cadets of the State Border Security and Protection Faculty of the SBGSU Academy.

Can a future border guard become a true specialist in the sphere of border protection with only theoretical knowledge? Definitely not. This is an opinion of the leadership of the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine, faculties and departments, which they hold when organizing and planning educational process in the academy. That is why practical training was planned for the fourth year cadets.

Therefore, according to the plan, in the beginning of February, a two-week practical training started for the cadets of the State Border Security and Protection Faculty of the SBGSU Academy.

Currently, cadets have arrived directly in the units at all sections of the state border. Unlike previous years, cadets will hold primary officer positions, that is, those positions which the graduates of the Academy will hold upon graduation.

Future officers will be trained to perform tasks holding positions of chiefs of border guard sections, first deputy Border Guard Division chiefs, as well as operational and search units’ positions.

Now, cadets are diligently mastering their future primary officer positions, gaining experience in personnel management, practicing scheduling and performing service activity. In particular, they serve in border guard details protecting of the state border, plan the course of action in case of changing the situation at the border, conduct classes with subordinates, etc.
