A man who was trying to overcome a barrier fence and control trail zone was detained yesterday, October 23, by border guards of the Krasnoilsk border guard department.

Upon receiving information as to the possible illegal activities in order to move tobacco smuggling, a response team went to one of the border sectors. During the search activities, the information provided by the local resident was confirmed - the response team found and detained an unknown person.

The man overcame the barrier fence with the help of two ladders, and the other one had already been damaged, however, in order to make his way through the control trail zone, the Bukovinian made a special tool out of the board.

As it turned out later, the detainee was a 24-year-old resident of  Krasnoilsk. During the escortштп to the border unit, the man repeatedly tried to escape. Therefore, in addition to attempting to illegally violate the state border, he will also have to answer for malicious disobedience to the lawful demands of the border guards.
