The beginning of Ukrainian-American “Rapid Trident – 2021” training took place today at the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sagaidachnyi.

The Borderguard Rapid Response Сommandant`s Office units of Izmail Borderguard Detachment which completed a preparatory course last week under the JMTG-U, will represent the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in this training this year.

Besides Ukraine and the United States, as host countries, military personnel from Bulgaria, Canada, Georgia, Germany, Jordan, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Turkey and the United Kingdom will participate in the training.

This year's maneuvers feature will be combined with the general scenario of strategic command and staff training with the designation of troops “Joint Efforts – 2021”. In addition, multinational units will be created during this training.

Battalion tactical exercises of a multinational combat battalion will be conducted for the first time in the history of Rapid Trident.
