Recently the weightlifting championship of Ukraine has terminated in Kyiv.

About 200 athletes from all over Ukraine competed in the Championship.

The border guards who took part in the competition showed strength and endurance, moral courage and thirst for victory.

Following the results of competitions in a weight category to 78 kg the lieutenant colonel Vasyl Trachuk, the officer of the of State border guard service Administration, won a bronze award and achieved the dream standard - the Master of Sports of Ukraine!

Junior sergeant Nazarii Kvashuk, a serviceman of the Ambukiv department of the Volyn border guard detachment, set his own record - he won silver in the weight category up to 95 kg!
